Campaign: Build a Deaf School in Monze, Zambia
VIDEO [CC] - GoFundMe campaign "Deaf Perspective" featuring Lauren Hostovsky: Charity to build a Deaf school in Monze, Zambia.
Lauren Hostovsky has a dream: she wants the Deaf students in Monze, Zambia to go to a school of their own. Watch this week’s episode of Deaf Perspective and check out her fundraising page, https://gofundme.com/deafschoolzambia.
Lauren Hostovsky: As you may or may not know, only two percent of Deaf people worldwide have access to education in sign language. How are Deaf children supposed to learn?
Many Deaf and Hard of Hearing children the world over do not have access to education, often because they are viewed as mentally challenged, unimportant, mute. This appeal is about making the world a better and safer place for Deaf children everywhere, but specifically in a very special place called Monze, Zambia.
In the village of Monze, Zambia, we are trying to build a school for over 60 Deaf and Hard of Hearing children whose parents and guardians have no resources to give them the proper education, health care and adequate living conditions needed to ensure their survival. We want to build a school in which to instruct and house these children, but also to create the kinds of self-sustaining projects that will be necessary to keep the school up and running once it has been constructed.
The Zambian government does not care about these children, and their parents are often uneducated and helpless. There is currently only one teacher working with the children of Monze, Zambia. Her name is Lisa Zahra, and she has been working tirelessly to provide appropriate education and protection for these Deaf and Hard of Hearing children.
Right now we need $3000 to help cover the cost of renting a classroom for one year for these children. Please help to raise the money needed to provide a classroom and instructional supplies and food for these children for the current school year... Read More: https://gofundme.com/deafschoolzambia

Why Don't Deaf People Believe In Bisexuality ?
VIDEO [CC] - Why don't Deaf people believe in bisexuality...? Sexuality is more about just being gay or straight.
This post is purpose for awareness and education in bisexuality. New research shows that many Deaf and Hard of Hearing people ignore or don't believe in bi and a sexuality - this despite the fact there's scientific evidence supporting the existence of both. The research looks at why this is, and the groups most likely to hold this line of thinking.
Considerable gender, racial and sexuality differences in attitudes toward bisexuality - "Men who identify themselves as heterosexual are three times more likely to categorize bisexuality as "not a legitimate sexual orientation," an attitude that can encourage negative health outcomes in people who identify as bisexual, according to an analysis led by University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health researcher Mackey Friedman, Ph.D., M.P.H." View Article Here.
Study: Straight Guys Don't Believe in Bisexuality - "Straight men are three times more likely to categorize bisexuality as "not a thing," according to a University of Pittsburgh study." View Article Here.
Sexual arousal patterns of bisexual men revisited - "Men who identify themselves as bisexual report feeling sexually aroused by both men and women. However, past research has not demonstrated that such men exhibit substantial genital arousal to both male and female erotic stimuli, suggesting that they identify as bisexual for reasons other than their genital arousal pattern." View Article Here.
How many people are lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender? - "Increasing numbers of population-based surveys in the United States and across the world include questions that allow for an estimate of the size of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) population." View Article Here.

The Worst Road Rage Incidents Of All Time
The worst road rage incidents of all time video compilations.
Warning: Graphic Content - View Discretion is Advised.
The best dash cam footage and caught on camera moments from around the globe. Dashboard cameras shows motorists taking the law into their own hands.
Road Rage is aggressive or angry behavior by a driver of an automobile or other road vehicle. Such behavior might include rude gestures, verbal insults, deliberately driving in an unsafe or threatening manner, or making threats.
Road rage can lead to altercations, assaults, and collisions that result in injuries and even deaths. It can be thought of as an extreme case of aggressive driving.
The rules of the road are present to ensure that people get to where they need to go safely, but sometimes those rules get broken. Whether by accident, or on purpose, the result can be ugly: tempers flare, fists fly, and occasionally things get out of control. The end result is totally priceless!
Millions people have watched hundreds of clips posted on the internet. While most road rage incidents usually end peacefully, not all do. Here are extreme examples captured on film from all over the world ... and one not-so-extreme one!
There, the absence of effective law enforcement coupled with booming sales of dashboard cameras has led to a surge of videos with scenes like these being posted on the internet.
Indeed, shocking footage of road rage rampages have become the latest form of entertainment in a country where the state has so much control of what is put on social media and television.
Road rage madness, the worst case of road rage we've ever come across was caught on camera by an innocent driver who found himself the target of a madman from the Southwest Australia.
On the footage you can hear the sound of the man punching Olsen's window as he drives off. He is yet another victim of the increasing number of road rage incidents which are turning quiet suburban streets into bitumen battlefields; where angry drivers are lashing out against other road users in unprovoked attacks.
But the madness was far from over. Olsen still didn't know if he was out of danger, even though the man appeared to be hurt, so having been rammed at least seven times and barely able to see though the windscreen, he continued driving to the nearest police station.
The now infamous black Nissan ute was garaged today at a sprawling Perth property while 21-year-old Edward Sullivan from Carbrook in Brisbane's south was being questioned by police. Source
Meanwhile in Russia... Road rage Russian style, in America, Britain, and Canada such terrifying episodes of road rage would be almost impossible to imagine but not in Russia - is way too intense. Even a cursory search on YouTube for 'road rage' reveals hundreds of clips and many of them are Russian.
How motorists settle their scores with guns, bats and axes in Russia. The clips showing armed drivers confronting each other being cut up or other lapses in driving etiquette have been watched by millions of Russians.
It is impossible to verify whether all the footage is all genuine. Undoubtedly, some will have been staged, but much appears to be real. Drivers say the root of the problem is corrupt policing and a failure to crack down on those involved in road rage and other motoring offences.
The most popular clips, shown on sites such as ru-chp.livejournal.com, are the road rage incidents, where - despite weapons occasionally being brandished - most involve old-fashioned fistfights. Source
